Encore Wide-Screen

Each of the sources (up to 65) may be shown in its own window and moved from any given position and size to another position and size in real time.
The technology enables the screen to contain all the relevant information necessary to retain and maintain the audience’s attention with clarity and focus.
The following composite images provide a visual guide as to what is possible.
The first image shows a background image (which may be static or moving) over which two further images have been overlaid namely the conference identity and a flag confirming the conference time and presenter. The flag may be static or animated to fade in/out or rotate between presenter changeovers.

The second screen shows the same screen in PowerPoint presentation mode, with the central area used for the display of PowerPoint slides but with the addition of the speaker in close up and the conference flag shown at screen left.
The transition from screen one to two is effected by sliding/zooming/fading the images into position and sizing as desired.

With multiple live sources the audience may concentrate on the messages being presented via the PowerPoint slide and the speaker maintains full audience contact by use of a close–up camera shot. The audience can see both the information and the speaker without having to lose eye-contact with the screen.
The images may be placed in any order or position and may indeed be repeated for clarity of message depending upon the size and layout of the auditorium seating.

The third screen shows the PowerPoint, centrally and the speaker camera close-up repeated at screen left and right.

The fourth image shows the same background as the first image with just the PowerPoint and the speaker camera shot overlaid.

The image sources may be overlaid in what is known as a Z order and thus multiple sources can be shown cascaded and brought to the fore as required through animated transitions or cross-fading.
The overall effect helps re-enforce the message, retain the audience interest and increase their attention span. The increased wow factor also helps to avoid the common scenario of “death by PowerPoint” as audience interest and attention decreases as the day progresses.

To effect the presentations with maximum effect we supply PowerPoint templates sized and configured for the proposed screen size. The slide generation content is then correctly sized and spaced for effective display.

The system is completely configurable by source and layout and may thus be changed for different aspects of the conference. Backgrounds and colours can be selected to reflect differing conference elements – such as financial, sales, marketing, analysis, HR, politic and more.

Extreme changes and settings may be effected to reflect the mood of a session such as closing speeches, awards, Q&A sessions.

With the use of camera close-ups during Q&A the respondents’ image may be shown on the screen rather than a disembodied voice with no attendant image or images.
