Status video conference for Oxfam
November 8th:
Status AV setup a point to point Question and Answer session with 90 employees of Oxfam in Oxford and 12 in their Senegal office. We used a Polycom VSX7000 unit for the camera requirements and displayed this both onto a 50" plasma screen and projected onto a 10 x 7.5 ft projection screen.
We also provided the audio system at Oxford with radio and lapel mics for the Q&A sessions. The whole event was recorded onto SVHS tape and then encoded for web streaming.
Oxfam were extremely pleased with the results and are looking to use video conferencing more often in the future.
